Little Lee graduated college in May, but had her party yesterday down the shore at Uncle Buddy’s house.

As always when you get the family together it is an adventure!!! Mystery solved.. the reason we are so wild and crazy is because my Grandmother and her sisters are still WILD AND CRAZY!! They range in ages from 56 to 77 with my Grandmother being the oldest. There are 5 sisters but yesterday there were only 4, Aunt M, Aunt P, Aunt A and Gram. We have a pretty talented family (that gene skipped over me) most of them can sing pretty well… not American Idol or anything except for maybe 3 of Aunt Angels daughters, they could hold their own on American Idol. Cousin M (Aunt A’s 4th daughter) and I decided yesterday that the talent gene skipped right over us because we can not even sing in the shower!!! We have other talents
anyway getting back to yesterday the “Sisters” as we all call them put on some show for us!!! Uncle Buddy and Aunt P rented a Karaoke machine for the party and Aunt M was the first to sing.. and what a show it was….
done
Then all the “Sisters” sang That’s Amore.. but Gram stole the show… she was a little drunk, she had 1 Margarita and it went right to her head!

Gram even serenaded one of Little Lee’s friends, who she did not know.. he was a good sport and joined right in with my crazy family!

Even the Little guys Cousin M and Cousin S joined in..

I guess the apple really does not fall very far from the tree!

Llama and I went to visit Aunt B yesterday. Junior, her grandson is visiting for 3 weeks and we stopped by to see him. Unfortunately, he was napping for most of our visit and we had to get back to work. I was able to get one picture of him with Grandma but he was half asleep…

He just turned 2 in June and you have to see the arm on this kid… I did not get the best pitch on video, but you will get the gist!

I am hoping we will have our very own Yankee in the family some day!!
August 11, 2008
So last week Llamas dad and a few of his friends came into town to go to some Yankee games. They we some crew! We had a great time with them although Llama was exhausted from being a tour guide and I was wiped out from all the back and forth into the city. In addition to the games we took them to the Empire State building and Llama took them to the Statue of Liberty. Now even though Dad G went up the Empire State building he did not leave the wall and had NO desire to see the views.

This was his pose the whole way around
Llama did get a few great shots of Lady Liberty…

This is his dad and two of the Shelby Gang… I think they had a pretty good time.

This was their last night in NY in some dive bar, drunk as skunks with Sarah the very wonderful bartender!
Anyway, Llama had taken them on a tour of Yankee Stadium and he had such a great time that he thought Gram C would love it. So Saturday Llama and I drove to the stadium at 6:15am to stand in line to get tickets. Keep in mind they do not go on sale until 9am. We then drove back home and loaded Gram, Uncle P, Cousin R up and went back to the stadium. When we got there I had asked one of the employees if they had an elevator to the Press box because Llama had said he thought Gram may have a hard time making that walk… well they went one step better and bought us this…

a wheelchair, so she was la bringabase (a princess) and I pushed her happy ass around Yankee Stadium. Now I have to say that was a pretty good deal for me since we got to go some place that the rest of the tour didn’t since she was in a chair. We got to see the World Series trophy, but were not allowed to take a picture of it. The tour also included the clubhouse, but no photos were allowed :(… here are some pictures we did get to take.

This was very exciting for Gram to get to walk… or should I say ride around the field and go into the dugout!

If you happen to be in NY before the end of the season, this was a great $20 spent!!

I want to share an experience that I have had over the last two weeks. Last Sunday a client of mine was nice enough to offer Llama and I tickets to a show. It is called Title of Show and it was FANTASTIC. They seem to have “made it” and are beginning to enjoy having a successful show, so the reason I am writing this is more for the second show I saw this Sunday cal Pick Me Choose Me Love Me. However for me to explain why I think everyone should see both shows I need to explain how fantastic the first was. Most musicals on Broadway are based on successful movies and so we all expect a great performance and nine out of ten times they deliver, but when was the last time you saw something that was truly original?? I feel I am very lucky to say that the last two weeks in a row I have experienced two fantastically original extremely talented performances. Title of show is a musical about writing a musical, and instead of all the hype, glitter and money, it really is four extremely hard working, profoundly talented, fantastically funny performers who EVERYONE MUST go see. I am hoping they do not mind, but I am including a link to their page - Title of Show
Now lets get to Pick Me Choose Me Love Me . Although this show is still pretty raw (not in the dirty way) the talent on stage is phenomenal! These four very young performers are amazing. Art in its best form should make us have emotion and this show does just that. Based on some truth and some creative writing there are times during this show where you are not sure whether you want to laugh your butt off or get up and hug them. There may be some parts where you feel uncomfortable for them, but that is what makes this show a must see. You get an undeniable sense that they have put their heart and soul into this piece!
Most of us do not realize the time and energy it takes to have a successful show. Going to see Title of Show gives you a hands on look and the difficulties to write, direct and produce a hit, which gives you an even greater appreciation for the writers, directors and performers of Pick Me Choose Me Love Me.
Pick Me Choose Me Love Me opens August 3rd - Pick Me Choose Me Love Me

I feel like it has been raining here since May.. oh wait it has! I am not sure what Cousin S and I were thinking with all the rain we have been getting, but we decided to take a boat ride on the Hudson River to watch the fireworks.. We did get some get pictures, but you can see how poopy it was out.

This picture was of some of the boats waiting for the fireworks to start.

The pictures of us are not great since we were a little wet, but I figured I would post a few. We had a great time even though the fireworks from Manhattan were a little difficult to see because of the rain. Jersey City’s were great, so we enjoyed those and had a fantastic dinner at a little Italian restaurant down in Little Italy!

Well, it has been a while since “the cousins” have gotten together, actually.. I am pretty sure the last time was before I started this page. Let me tell you when my cousins and I get together it is normally TROUBLE!! I feel very bad for the other people in the bar because we just take over. At first Llama was embarrassed, but now he just joins right in. Dirty Rugg decided that we were going to go to the Jolly Trolly for a little Karaoke last Thursday and it was an adventure!

Cousin A, Cousin S and I are pretty freaking loud, it is a sin we really do take over the place. Cousin A, Cousin L and Llama did a little singing.

We probably drank a little to much because we.. or Cousin A and I got a little wild! Cousin A insisted on dancing on the bar and I of course had to help her accomplish that goal.. I on the other hand had an overwhelming need to yank on the Llama’s hair… do not ask me why.. drunken stupidity ;)

I am not sure what is worse, Cousin A and I get a little wild when we drink, but Cousin S doesn’t drink and she is just as CRAZY!!!!
Dirty Rugg and Mr. D do not seem to mind hanging with us… I guess they do not embarrass easily!

Big Boy even graced us with his presence… that normally never happens, I think maybe we scare him a little!

I left the great state of NJ when I was only 13 so I was to young to enjoy my older cousins… probably was a good idea on dads part moving me… I think we would have been wild women (not that they didn’t do a great job without me.. T-T-T-Tony) but I am glad I am here now, I am loving spending time with them!

We did have some nice normal moments, but with this family they are few and far between!

And like all of my nights end now I kissed my LLama, I think that may be the best part of us moving to NJ and going through all the crap we have gone through…. having my Llama.

Llama and I took a 3 day class in Manhattan this weekend which was GREAT!! I am very happy we did for two reasons one we learned a lot and two we had a great time. We stayed on the 33rd floor of the Marriott overlooking ground zero which was amazing.

The Llama hates that I bring my camera with me everywhere we go, I think sometimes I do it to drive him nuts… so this weekend I packed my little piece of poop camera just in case. The first thing he says when we walk into our room was “you better have brought your camera”… oh sure now he wants it. The pictures of the WTC construction site would have been awesome with my other camera, but these came pretty good. Now, what I saw was a door opening when he asked for the camera so I proceeded to take this picture
which I had to take two times since the comment I was now getting was “Is this what the next 60 years of our lives is going to be, you pulling out the camera for everything?” and my answer was a HUGE YES!!
We did get to go to dinner with Dr. R on Friday night which was wonderful since we have not seen her in months. We found this great Italian restaurant off of Bowery.

She then took us on some adventure to find this bar she wanted to show us… take a look

do you love the artwork?? It is crazy, they are revamping this part of the city and there are people everywhere, but these owners took this little space at the end of an alley off an alley and made it into a bar/restaurant, it is wild and the place was packed!!
Even our view on our lunch breaks from the class were amazing. The weather was perfect and we were able to eat outside right on the water, it was wonderful!

The fact that we had this much fun and learned a ton was great!! There were a few other things that I thought were a must see for everyone. I am not sure how many of you have been to Penn Station before but it is an experience. There is a TV screen that has all the different trains that are leaving and about 10 minutes before it is scheduled to leave they post the departing track number. Everyone RUNS like it is the end of the world. Keep in mind this is on a Sunday, during the work week you can look at the people in this video and easily triple it! And the last picture was of the train we took home, it was new and a double decker and I thought it was pretty cool!

Weezee has decided that he wants to be a doctor just like daddy. So mommy went out and bought him his own set of scrubs the other day. He wanted to go to the office and help daddy with his patients but daddy was out of town
He than told his mother that he was still wearing his scrubs because he was going to help all the kids at summer camp! I think it is very cute.. Llama’s response was oh poor kid everyone is going to make fun of him!

So Llama and I changed the office hours for the summer which means that we now get Saturday and Sunday off… woohoo! We were very excited about this, so Saturday night we decided that we were going to try to find a place that had some live music. We didn’t want to go into the city so we thought we would give Morristown a try. After about 45 minutes of driving around Morristown and passing a place where the girls looked young enough to be my daughters we decided to just get some Sushi (it was my weekend off from the magnets) and Saki! We did walk over to another club after we ate, but the crowd was a little young… or maybe we are getting old. I did grab my cell phone to text message Mrs J (didn’t have your cell number in my phone, not sure where it went) over in the sunny part of the country to say what the heck happened… remember when we would go out drinking all night go to work and that do it all over again??? We stayed there all of about 2 minutes and decided to go home and sit out by the pool with a bottle of wine, and thus we are officially middle aged

June 18, 2008
Well, poor Llama, not only did we not do anything fun but I forgot to bring the camera home to take pictures of us singing to him.. so The only pictures I took were of Little N… bad girlfriend… good Aunt
